So… the live show has just finished and the acts have all had their chance to impress the judges. All week my colleagues at Metrica have been posting predictions on who will win their place in Saturday night’s final show based on the buzz that we are seeing from Metrica Radar, our very own social media monitoring and analysis platform.
Over this last week, we have seen over one hundred and forty four thousand posts across social media channels. The vast majority have been on Twiter - the medium of choice it would seem for comments on reality TV shows. There are two places left for tomorrow night’s grand final show. After a great week of predictions, it falls to me to make the right call again… So who is it to be based on the online buzz generated by tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent Show?
A lot of the buzz tonight has been around how diverse the performers have been representing many more countries than just Britain. In addition, a lot of the comments have been negative including a torrent of abuse for Antonio Popeye whose skill in bulging his eyeballs is criticised for being incredibly limited.
That said, based on the buzz tonight and with 10 minutes to go before the results show, Metrica Radar is predicting that Razy Gogonea is to win with Michael Collings and Michael Moral fighting it out for the other place. Will we be right? The results are iminent.
